A wonderful community initiative and one I hope you can support. A lot of reconstruction work has to go on and predictably, everything is costing more than the original budget!
This company visited at the TEN SEN show and someone we would hope to collaborate with in future. This Swedish company are claiming whereas only 16% of autistics are employed in this country, it is 56% in Canada and 75% in Sweden – just shows we have a long way to go!
I saw this in action at the beginning of the month at the TEN SEN show in London – it may save some frayed tempers!!
This can be a big issue for many autistics in everyday life – believe me!!
I am staying out of the argument other than to state I am a great admirer of this young girl!
A bit techie, but this report suggests that children are being missed and to quote a part of the article “Persistent racial and economic disparities in autism screening and diagnosis are a cause for great concern” – tell us something we didn’t know!!
