Back in the 90’s, depressingly nearly 30 years ago, I used to be a big advocate and even a distributor of nutritional supplements for an American company, I was part of their professional team developing new products.
There was the statistic than 80% of medics took supplements but only 15% recommended them.
Research has come a long way with some supplements being discredited and others “not proven”. However, the universal advice at the moment appears to be there is nothing to beat a well balanced diet consisting of fresh nutritious food.
If supplements work for you, then I’m not going to disagree, but try to find natural ways of getting your daily intake rather than artificial ways of supplementing it
